About The Client:
Client is a life insurance company in India. The firm offers life insurance products targeted at individuals and groups, catering to four distinct segments: protection, children, retirement and investment plans.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain web applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with proper unit tests (xUnit/NUnit) and adhere to coding standards.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs, integrate third party services, and handle authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth).
- Work with SQL Server: create/optimize queries, stored procedures, indexes, and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and collaborate closely with Client/QA for quality delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve production and performance issues, implement monitoring/logging (e.g., Serilog/ELK/App Insights).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and follow branching/version control best practices (Git).
- Contribute to documentation (technical designs, API specs, runbooks) and continuously improve processes/tools.
