About The Job:

• Primary Skills Java, Spring Boot, Kafka.
• Secondary Skills Python, Microservices, REST APIs.
• Experience 4-6 Total and Relevant.
• We are looking for a strong Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience building scalable systems using Java and Kafka.
• Requires deep understanding of core Java, Kafka implementations, and distributed systems.
• Ability to contribute to design, debugging, and performance optimization.

Essential Job Functions:
Backend Development.

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with scalability and security.
• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices.

• Develop Kafka producers and consumers for real-time processing.
• Implement event-driven workflows and asynchronous systems.
• Handle serialization, topic design, partitioning, and offset management.
• Troubleshoot Kafka performance and reliability issues.

• Participate in design discussions and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Debug issues in distributed systems.

• Work with product, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

• Use Python for scripting, data processing, and automation tasks.

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Qualifications.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, multithreading, and memory management.
• Spring Ecosystem.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Understanding of REST APIs and dependency injection.

• Hands-on experience with producers, consumers, and event streaming.
• Knowledge of partitioning, offset management, and fault tolerance.
• APIs and Databases.
• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, and unit testing frameworks.
• Communication Skills.
• Ability to clearly explain technical solutions and work with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with event-driven microservices architecture.
• Experience handling production-level Kafka issues.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to solve system design problems.
• Not Suitable Candidates.
  • Candidates with only theoretical knowledge or limited Kafka exposure.
  • Weak communication or lack of practical implementation experience.
