Check out our website and you know we ain’t lying.\n\nAbout the role\n\nIf creating elegant and customer-focused designs that make people talk about it is your thing, and you’re as comfortable designing products with AI tools as you are designing on Figma, then this role is for you. Such products come out of working in close collaboration with business, product, technology teams, and fellow designers. You would also be presenting design propositions and solutions to stakeholders using wireframes, mock-ups, or high-fidelity prototypes.

Feedback is breakfast of champions, and we'd ensure you'd get as much as you need to iterate and improve to reach our mutual goal of building a world-class product.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nIdeate and implement solutions that overlap customer needs, design and technology.\nGather requirements from stakeholders, derive problem statements and plan design engagements. Also, proactively launch efforts to improve different aspects of the product.\nBe the owner & decision-maker of design for one or more major features in the consumer app.\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until its launch.\nEnsuring design quality, consistency, and coherence within the product.\nDesign flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant. Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality.\nComfortably build out experiences on design tools as well as AI/vibe-coding interfaces.\nConceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.\nCollaborate and conduct user research and evaluate user feedback on designs and do iterations according to feedback.\nResearch, learn and implement design guidelines, best practices and design standards.

Experiment and validate design ideas and opinions.\n\nWhat you'll need\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in design.\n1-4 years of experience designing in consumer-focused product companies.\nExpertise in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Principle etc.\nExperience designing using AI/vibe-coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Google Stitch, Figma Make, Lovable etc. We don’t need you to know/use all of them, but we’d like you to be proficient in at least one of them.\nExceptional analytical skills, with an ability to quickly translate both qualitative and quantitative data-driven insights into actions.\nExcellent visual design skills, experience in illustration & motion design is a plus.\nExcellent communication skills & attention to detail.\n\nAbout us\n\nslice\nA new bank for a new India\n\nslice’s purpose is to make the world better at using money and time, with a major focus on building the best consumer experience for your money.
