Associate Product Manager
Job Description
About Leucine AI
We're building the AI-native operating system for life sciences. LeucineOS is an agentic OS that runs complex workflows across pharmaceutical and biotech operations — work that today takes armies of people, weeks of cycle time, and binders of SOPs. We're already live inside some of the largest pharma manufacturers in the world, and we're just getting started.
This is one of the few places where you can ship agentic AI into production environments that actually matter — where the workflow you design sits between a drug and a patient.
The Role
We're hiring an Associate Product Manager to own agentic use cases on LeucineOS end-to-end — from customer discovery to shipped product. You'll work directly with the founders, talk to pharma operators on the ground, prototype in code, and partner with engineering to ship fast.
This is not a PRD-and-Jira role. We expect our APMs to open a codebase, build a working prototype over a weekend, and have an opinion grounded in what they've actually shipped. If you've never touched a codebase, this won't be the right fit.
What you'll do
- Hunt for high-leverage agentic use cases — sit with customers, watch real workflows, find the moments where an agent collapses hours of work into minutes
- Translate ambiguous, messy problems into crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineers love working from
- Prototype POCs in React and Node.js to pressure-test ideas before committing engineering cycles — you'll vibe-code with Cursor, Claude Code, or whatever ships fastest
- Drive the full build cycle alongside engineering — design, build, deploy, iterate
- Define the metrics that matter, track adoption obsessively, and kill what doesn't work
- Stay at the frontier of agentic AI — new models, new patterns, new tools — and bring the best of it into LeucineOS
Must-haves
- B.Tech from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute (IITs, NITs, BITS, or equivalent)
- 2–4 years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI/ML
- Demonstrated vibe-coding ability — you've shipped or prototyped real things in React and Node.js, and you're comfortable navigating an unfamiliar codebase
- Sharp product intuition — you can sit with a user, find the real pain point under the stated one, and turn it into a clear product bet
- Writing that earns attention — your PRDs get read, your Slack messages get acted on
Nice to have
- Hands-on time with LLMs, agent frameworks, or workflow automation products
- Exposure to pharma, life sciences, or any regulated industry workflow
- A track record of building in early-stage or high-growth startups
Why this role is worth your next two years
- Frontier work, real stakes. Agentic AI is the most exciting technical shift of the decade, and life sciences is one of the highest-impact places to apply it. Most \"AI PM\" roles are wrappers on a chatbot — this isn't that.
- Founding-team proximity. You'll work directly with founders who've spent years inside pharma and know the workflows cold. The product instinct around you will be sharp.
- Ship velocity. Code-to-customer cycles are measured in days, not quarters. What you build this month will be live next month.
- Compensation that reflects the bar. Strong cash compensation plus meaningful ESOPs — we pay top of market for top of market.
- A seat at the table early. APMs here grow into PM and senior PM roles fast. The ceiling is set by what you ship, not by tenure.
How we hire
Expect a conversation about your product instincts, a take-home where you'll scope and prototype a real agentic use case, and working sessions with engineering and the founders. We move fast — most candidates go from first call to offer in under two weeks.
If you've read this far and you're already thinking about which use case you'd prototype first — apply. That's the instinct we're hiring for.
