Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team in Kadur. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, conducting OPD consultations, and performing ophthalmic surgical procedures as per clinical requirements. Fresh graduates with the required qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Diagnose and treat eye disorders, infections, injuries, and vision-related conditions.
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans.
- Manage outpatient consultations efficiently and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Surgical Responsibilities
- Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures based on training and competency.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Patient Care
- Deliver compassionate and ethical patient care.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and surgical procedures.
- Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MS Ophthalmology / DOMS from a recognized university or institution.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council.
Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in Ophthalmology.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
