Network Administrator L2

• Responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• The role includes proactive monitoring, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of network devices, firewalls, and related systems, while adhering to ITIL processes and supporting a 24x7 service window for core network and infrastructure applications.
• This role ensures network availability, performance, and security while supporting cross-skilling in firewall technologies

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and access points.
• Perform backup and restoration of network device configurations.
• Monitor network performance using tools like ManageEngine OpManager, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
• Allocate and manage bandwidth (B/W) across network segments. Handle bandwidth allocation and optimization.
• Assist in network or security hardware/software refresh, including setup and configuration.
• Perform installation, upgrades, and patching of network devices.
• Apply patching using ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus for network devices.
• Utilize ITSM tools such as BMC Helix or ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem management.
• Respond promptly to high-priority incidents and outages, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
• Participate in Change Management and Problem Management processes for network updates and recurring issues.
• Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with firewall teams for cross-functional support.
• Respond to incidents and escalate as per ITIL processes.
• Knowledge management – Creation/Modification of SOP/KBs
• Work in a 24x7 service window with rotational shifts.

Qualifications:

• Exp: 5 to 7 years

• Expertise in Cisco Routers (ISR series), Switches (Catalyst series), and Access Points.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP).
• Familiarity with wireless networking standards and controller-based setups.
• Monitoring tools: ManageEngine OpManager, Nagios, SolarWinds.
• Basic understanding of firewall technologies for cross-skill capability.
• ITSM tools: ServiceNow, BMC Helix.
• Backup & Restoration: Network device configuration backups
• Security: Firewall policies, access control, compliance standards
• Patch Management: ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus

• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
• Experience with Panorama for firewall management
• Familiarity with network security best practices
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plus

• Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Incident management and coordination during outages
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team collaboration and adaptability in dynamic environments
