IOT Infrastructure Analyst Entry

About The Job:

• The IoT Infrastructure Analyst Entry will assist in implementing Cloud and IoT related system at Trelleborg group of companies
• The candidate will have to contribute to the definition and validation of Platform architectures proposed by BA IT and Group IT development teams
• The candidate should be experienced in development, deployment, architectural design and support of large Cloud IoT solutions to include Global Scale Implementations
• The candidate will also have experience serving in project design roles
• This position will be housed within the Group IT organization and will interface with various Development teams at Trelleborg group sites

Essential Job Functions:

• Liaison with stakeholders and translate requirements and ensure implementation accordingly to best of breed architectural standards
• Assist in maintaining and improving the corporate standards related to IoT and Cloud Infrastructure services
• Responsible for assisting BA IT developers by ensuring alignment to Group approved design patterns
• Responsible for building quick prototypes using a variety of IoT tool sets to demonstrate the viability of a concept
• Perform documentation support implementation and adherence of new and or improved IT and OT processes following Trelleborg IT standards
• Would be assigned projects in the course of their work
• Quickly identify issues specific to Azure Services or Azure Platform and conduct in depth diagnostics on Azure platform and services
• Relentlessly champion and advocate for our business applications partners in representing their issues to Group IT engineering teams and be a change agent to develop innovative ways to resolve their issues
• Apply an engineering mindset to eliminate top issues impacting end user experience across large and strategic sets of Trelleborg business applications
• Complete projects and tasks independently with limited direct supervision
• Coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
• Monitor and manage the status of IoT implementation related servers
• Manage and ensure the integrity of host computers and databases
• Stays current with trends and best practices and seeks relevant information regarding trends and best practices in the industry recommending emerging technologies to improve and enhance existing systems
• Travel as required to meet project objectives

Qualifications:

• Education and experience in technical computer and networking service support
• Associates degree of computer science or Bachelors degree is preferred but equivalent combinations of education experience and certification will be considered
• A minimum 2 years experience of working in a preferably global IT organisation supporting Microsoft and Cloud Infrastructure Platforms Preference given to Azure Cloud Experience
• Experience scaling cloud infrastructure services to support Enterprise applications
• Experienced in working in a culturally diversified fast paced environment
• Experienced in developing and deploying IoT Devices in an Global Enterprise environment
• Experienced in implementing documenting and operationally maintaining IT infrastructure
• Experienced in interacting with and management of external suppliers and service providers
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux with demonstrated hands on experience on one or more of the following domains
• Azure Core Platform Compute Storage Networking
• Data Platform SQL Azure DB
• PowerBI
• Application development debugging experience C# Python JavaScript
• Azure Application Development or support experiences with Azure PaaS services
• Monitoring alerting and logging tools and build release processes highly preferred
• Good verbal conversational and written communication skills in English combined with the ability to communicate effectively
• Communication skills in other languages are an added advantage
• High level of customer focus and strong customer support commitment
• Ability to travel internationally
• Ability in working in a culturally diversified fast paced environment
• Ability to cooperate with technology teams managements and end users
• Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity
• Ability to learn new technology in a fast paced environment
• Ability to set priorities for scope risk and quality of technology solutions to meet business needs
• Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions across all levels of the organization
• Strong and flexible individual capable of dealing with the typical tensions that arise within an IT service environment confident customer focused good problem solving skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic Understanding of Enterprise Computing Hardware and Resource Allocation
• Basic Understanding of Full Software Stacks
• Basic Understanding of IoT Device and Application Development
• Fundamental Software Development Lifecycle understanding
• Ability to translate functional requirements in to technical solutions
• This position will interface with all levels of employees and functional groups in the Trelleborg group of companies from senior management to basic user groups
• The person will have to interact with external services suppliers and contractors related to IT IoT and Cloud systems
