Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Canadian Allied Health Recruiter to join our healthcare staffing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified allied health professionals across healthcare facilities throughout Canada. This role requires a strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system, provincial licensing requirements, and healthcare staffing best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Source and recruit qualified allied health professionals, including but not limited to:

  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Respiratory Therapists
  • Medical Laboratory Technologists
  • Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Social Workers
  • Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Pharmacists
  • Dietitians
  • Rehabilitation Assistants

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including:

  • Candidate sourcing
  • Resume screening
  • Interviews and assessments
  • Reference checks
  • Credential verification
  • Offer negotiation
  • Onboarding support

  1. Develop and maintain talent pipelines through various recruitment channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, professional associations, referrals, and networking.
  2. Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  3. Maintain knowledge of provincial licensing and registration requirements across Canada.
  4. Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand staffing requirements and deliver qualified candidates in a timely manner.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations.
  6. Track recruitment activities and maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  7. Participate in recruitment campaigns, career fairs, networking events, and marketing initiatives to attract healthcare talent.
