Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer with 4 years of hands-on experience in the DevOps field. Strong understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and configuration management.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software development, IT, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment processes, monitoring, and system performance. You'll be expected to drive automation initiatives and contribute to the improvement of system reliability and efficiency across the company's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate the software development lifecycle.
Manage and monitor cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services across different environments.
Automate and optimize repetitive tasks using scripts and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
Set up and manage containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to support scalable applications and microservices.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application performance.
Ensure the security of the infrastructure and applications, implementing necessary tools and practices to safeguard data.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular backups to ensure operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production, staging, and development environments.
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively detect and address issues before they affect the system.
Participate in on-call rotations to respond to production incidents and improve the overall uptime and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience in provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell for automation tasks.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Experience with Linux/Unix systems, and a solid understanding of networking and security concepts.
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
