REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
3-6 years of experience with ETL testing in software industry

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop methods for project teams to use to test extract/transform/load (ETL) scripts and business intelligence reports.
  • Experience in automated ETL Testing using shell/python or any other similar scripting language
  • Strong experience in Teradata, HIVE and database languages like SQL.
  • Support Agile development by automating builds, supporting continuous integration and testing to the extent practical in the BI/EDW environment.
  • Document and implement a testing strategy, including test automation, for ETL and reporting tools.
  • Manage code migration and software change management of ETL scripts and reporting objects via a CI-CD process.
  • Implement and operate process and tools for Micro strategy/Power BI, Essbase, Data stage and GitHub source code control. Develop code branching and merging strategy to allow parallel development.
  • Develop processes for monitoring performance of reports (MicroStrategy, Essbase), providing performance/capacity reporting and capacity planning
  • Have good experience in Scheduling tools like CAWA, Control-M.
Must Have Requirements:
  • Work experience in Big Data.
  • Strong SQL Knowledge.
  • Experience in CAWA/Control-M or similar tool.
Nice to Have Requirements:
  • Any ETL tool knowledge.
  • Java, Selenium.
  • Web services (SOAP and REST).
  • Awareness of latest technology trends.
TOOL SET:
  • Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL / HIVE – SQL Queries are mandatory.
  • Scripting: Java / Unix / Shell.
  • Jenkins (CI/CD)
  • Agile methodology (JIRA)
  • GitHub (Repository)
  • CAWA/Control-M.
