Desktop Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS) and enterprise applications.
Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise systems.
Perform regular maintenance tasks including software updates, patches, antivirus monitoring, and backups.
Set up and maintain video conferencing systems and meeting room technologies (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
Coordinate with other IT teams for escalation, network issues, and hardware replacements.
Document issues, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base for continuous improvement.
Support IT onboarding/offboarding, including device provisioning and recovery.
