Package applications on Windows platform. Creating Client Software packages for new applications and update existing apps (ex. SentinelOne, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Teams & Office apps etc.) Review and validate software request tickets. Develop, test and maintain software packages for distribution to end user devices, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Assisting the team as 2nd/3rd level support in finding the root cause of Package-related problems and possible solutions. Extensive testing and deployment of client applications Working knowledge of Intune (creating, managing & deploying win32 apps) and SCCM (Packages & applications) is a must. Skills in scripting methods like VB Script, Batch/ CMD and/or PowerShell scripting. Skills in Windows registry, processes, Filesystem. Deep understanding of MSI and EXE packaging standards and best practices. Also, knowledge of MSIX and UWP apps. Troubleshooting skills by inferencing common log files from Intune, SCCM and Windows Client OS (Event viewer etc.) perspective. Problem solving with great communication skills both verbal and written. Good multi-tasking ability, analytical and problem-solving skills independently and in a team environment. Should have good understanding of complete process flow of Package applications on Windows platform : validate, create, test & deploy. Should have a problem-solving capability along with the ability to give clear technical instructions |
