Overall 8 to 10 years of IT infrastructure

Job Description Backup Architect 7-9 years
Domain knowledge on AirGAP Infrastructure across all platforms.
Deep Knowledge on AirGap technology in Veritas NetBackup
Domain knowledge about DC technologies like Storage, Network, Compute, Hypervisor, Security etc. from Market leading cloud vendors.
Design and implement AirGap Veritas Appliances in Multiple Cloud platform.
Deployment and management of Backup storage appliances.
Good knowledge in Disk based and Tape based backup
Good Knowledge of info scale cluster.
Good Knowledge of Veritas Appliances (Flex 5340 / NBU 5340 / 5250) and Dell Data Domain Backup storages.
Excellent troubleshooting skills to manage Backup and Restore Failures ? Manage and maintain the backup Infrastructure
Basic analytical and problem solving skills Requirements
8+ years project experience in AirGap Veritas NetBackup and Disk appliances.
Effective communication skills
Knowledge on MS Products
Managing team members across time zone.
Manage different Backup configurations. Agent and Snapshot based backup clients
Analyse existing backup environment and provide expert advice for optimizations
Understanding functionalities of key Backup components/processes
Deduplication/ Encryption /Replication/Reclamation/Migration/Snapshot/Retentions
Diagnose backup issues and follow up with root cause analysis
Maintain an audit trail of backups and restores.
