PL/SQL Developer- Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer with 4 years of experience to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PL/SQL programming, along with experience in designing, coding, testing, and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code for Oracle databases. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining efficient database applications that support business needs and enhance the performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development & Programming:

  • Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

  • Write and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting and data manipulation.

  • Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.

  • Ensure database applications are well-designed for performance, security, and scalability.

• Database Optimization & Performance Tuning:

  • Perform performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Identify and resolve database bottlenecks, slow queries, and resource-intensive operations.

  • Analyze query execution plans and make improvements to optimize database performance.

• Testing & Debugging:

  • Test, debug, and troubleshoot PL/SQL programs, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.

  • Perform unit testing and assist with integration testing for database applications.

  • Maintain and manage test cases and defect tracking for PL/SQL-based applications.

• Database Maintenance & Support:

  • Support and maintain existing PL/SQL codebases and database applications.

  • Monitor and maintain database environments, ensuring uptime and smooth operation.

  • Provide support for database-related issues, including bug fixes and performance improvements.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers) to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for PL/SQL development, including code, processes, and data flows.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities within the team to improve development processes.

• Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

  • Stay up-to-date with new Oracle database features, tools, and industry trends
