JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Relevant Work experience of 5+ years
- Significant experience & demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of SAS Data Integration Studio(DI Studio), SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Guide, Macros, SAS VA, Teradata (or similar database technology)
- Working knowledge of SAS Debug options and process.
- Experience of SAS Stored process and ability to create user friendly SAS stored process web applications.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Shell scripting
- Solid facilitation skills to gather the necessary information to document and/or develop a plan - strategic/tactical
- Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design
- Experience in Big Data (Hadoop) will be an added advantage
- Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies
- Interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
- Able to quickly understand and familiarise themselves with complex systems
- Ability to learn the technical specifics of the given project
- Understanding of good development and testing practices
- Ability to learn organisation internal project governances/delivery methodologies
