- 12-15+ years of Hands-on experience in Ab Initio (v4.0 and above) ETL Projects, Ab Initio solution design and documentation. Ab initio experience including GDE, Plans, continuous flow, m-hub and ACE/BRE.
- Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments involving multiple teams
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
- Should have Ab Initio development in GDE experience with Understanding of GDE components like reformat, normalize, rollup, scan, sort, partitioning and de -partitioning components, integration of java workflows with Abinitio
- Should have strong understanding of Ab Initio graph sub graph, psets , plans and air command , m-commands concepts
- Should have Developed custom graphs implementing complex business requirements using GDE
- Preferably should have worked on latest version of Ab Initio and BRE
- Experience working on continuous flow graphs, Messaging queues.
- Support ongoing ETL efforts in multi-lane Development, SIT, UAT and Production Environments.
- Research new solutions, tools and methodologies that may improve the overall operation model process
- Work very closely with business analysts, development teams and project managers for requirements and business rules.
- Full life cycle Data Warehouse experience including star schema and dimensional data
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as sql server, Oracle Teradata.
- Experience with writing complex SQL for data analysis and data profiling.
