Detailed Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Manage Azure subscriptions and resources
- Deploy and manage storage, VMs, virtual networks, and identities
- Work independently and within a team as a technical SME
- Build hybrid environments to span existing on-premise data centers and Azure
- Secure, manage and monitor Azure environments
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Support the architecting and engineering of cloud infrastructure for best scalability, resiliency
- and maintainability, including execution of proof of concept and pilots.
- Plan and document multi-step, complex changes and develop DR procedures
Technical requirements
- 4-6 years of experience - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, and Cloudformation.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or other
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) building with tools like AzureDevOps
- Ability to be hands-on with development and systems operations
- Some scripting (Bash, Powershell, Python, Ruby Go, etc.) Desired Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Built CI/CD from scratch
- Worked in hybrid server environments (on-prem & cloud)
