- Over 2 years working experience in in one or more of the following functions: collections, fraud, lending operations and payments in financial institution/banking industry.
- Proven ability to analyse data and present it in an effective and meaningful manner
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand use case requirements and to help identify opportunities to deliver business value.
- Translate business requirements into functional specification documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards that at-a-glance provide actionable insights.
- Identify and document business metrics, working to standardise data sources and definitions.
- Collaborate with onshore team and input into the build of data assets that supports dashboard or analytics output
- Ability to execute, complete, debug and enhance ETL using SQL, Python, SAS (EG & SMC), O365, Excel etc.
- Ability to present data in a graphical or pictorial format based on requirements using NAB's visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to convert data into information and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Understand financial services data and able to understand data models and relationships to compile reporting and metrics.
- Demonstrable experience in data pipeline design and build and understand how to deal with various data types and missing data.
- Attention to detail, self-managed, strong data and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
The skills you bring with you:
- Experience with Power BI,ETL using SQL, Python, SAS (EG & SMC), O365, Excel etc
- Experience with data solutions in Cloud (preferably with AWS) as well as on-premises assets like Oracle
Demonstrated capability with the development of and performance-tuning skills for RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift etc) databases
