An Azure DevOps Engineer has to juggle multiple roles on the floor. Candidates can also go for specialisation in one role to give themselves an edge. These roles are aligned with the responsibilities, and include:

• DevOps Evangelist: Promotes a culture of DevOps methodologies in the organisation and ensures that the team members are well-trained in them.
• Azure DevOps Developer/Tester:Automates the testing phase and is expected to code, unit test, deploy, and monitor the applications.
• Automation Architect:Implements strategies and analyses designs for deployment in a continuous automated manner.
• Security Engineer: Works alongside developers to ensure the security and integrity of all products and provides recommendations on the same.
• Experience Assurance Professionals: Ensure that the user experience of the products is intact by testing features and functionalities.
• Release Manager: Oversees the coordination, integration, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of every DevOps product.
• Utility Technology Player: Works and operates tools, networks, databases, servers, over-development platforms, and development and support.
