What you will bring:
- Functioning as a DevOps Engineer building our next generation cloud infrastructure.
- Rapid deployment, automation, monitoring and troubleshooting within a cloud hosted environment.
- Developing internal devops tools
- Creating and maintaining developer and production environments.
- Building and deploying Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- Identify improvements to system scalability and stability.
- Implement enhancements and best practices for modern development principles and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain tooling to assist with things like integration tests, performance tooling, building production and staging environments, CI systems, source control etc.
- Work within a collaborative Agile team environment.
- Automate repetitive tasks in the team's workflow.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Big Data stacks such as Hadoop, Spark, and EMR.
Qualifications
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of devops experience in building and maintaining automated production grade systems
- Experience in Building and deploying Docker containers. Kubernetes a big plus!
- Deep experience in Configuration and Infrastructure Management using Terraform, Ansible or AWS Cloud formation
- Experience with scripting languages like bash, shell, python or powershell
- Experienced in application servers like nginx, IIS.
- Proficient in Linux and windows administration.
- Demonstrate knowledge of common networking protocols
- Experience with managing cloud-based environments, AWS / Azure.
- Familiarity with one of the following languages Python, C#, Javascript
- Familiarity with tools for systems management, operational support, and performance monitoring, such as Azure Appinsights, New Relic, AWS Cloud watch.
- Experience with Azure Devops, Jenkins and an understanding of continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience with Git and various branching strategies.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication, with a collaborative attitude and ability to work with in complex organizational structure.
