Manual Testing -- Kochi

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through comprehensive manual testing procedures. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify bugs and ensure a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and improvements.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Report on testing progress, defects, and test results.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
