Your Responsibilities

Design, develop and deliver REST API microservices aligned with microservice architecture principles

Integrate components in IBM cloud

Integrate and configure IBM Watson

Ability to modify / program in Watson if required

Act as key contributor in developing the entire functional modules in addition to supporting other developers in their daily activities

Competent in code reviews and adherence to microservices development standards

Have strong analytical and debugging skills in front end applications

Work in agile/scrum environment and adapt to changes quickly to deliver the user stories

Have good communication to interact with multiple stakeholders and report the risk/issues status

Contribute to various organizational wide initiatives including Devops automation, development of POC's, etc.

Skills you need

Strong hands-on experience in designing and building microservices using Node JS, Javascript frameworks,

In-depth knowledge on RESTful API standards and principles

Strong experience in integration of RESTful APIs with Single Page Application (SPA)

Good experience in JSON and NoSQL databases

Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like JIRA, Git/Stash, Teamcity, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc. is preferred

Align to Agile Scrum methodologies/ceremonies

Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills

Overall 8+ years of experience with at-least 2+ years of experience in building microservices using NodeJS and other JS frameworks
