- Focus on the design, development, configuration and support of MicroSoft BizTalk to deliver the global Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Support the design, development, configuration and support of the global Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB)
- Acquire the necessary skills to develop and deploy the ESB and MSB application suite
- Work as part of a global team of integration subject matter experts to deliver integration support within agreed SLAs
- Work alongside the other global IT functions (including IT operations, security, project management office and IT business partners) to support the delivery of the IT strategy in line with the IT operating model
- Ensure the business/function are aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practice
- Ensure IT security requirements are observed and designed into future demand/requirements
- Provide structured training for business/function(s) for maximum effectiveness
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management/team leaders
- Support the implementation of global IT standards
- Application lifecycle management
- Provide fit for purpose applications and solutions
- Support annual IT budget
- Drive the use of standard integration tools and processes in the system arena
- Liaise with external parties (e.g. consultants, software vendors, auditors etc.) where required
- Gather functional and non-functional requirements of systems, processes and business models and translate into technical solutions
- Test and verify system functionality within new and existing systems and solutions
- Support implementation of new solutions, upgrades and/or enhancements to existing ones
