SAP EWM
Key Responsibilities
SAP EWM Implementation & Configuration: Lead and support the end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Configure key EWM components such as Inbound & Outbound Processing, Storage Bin Management, Handling Units, Warehouse Tasks, and Warehouse Orders.
Process Optimization: Design, develop, and implement solutions to optimize warehouse processes, including goods receipt, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
Integration with Other Modules: Ensure smooth integration of SAP EWM with other modules like SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), SAP PP (Production Planning), and SAP S/4HANA.
Warehouse Layout Design: Configure and manage the warehouse layout in SAP EWM to ensure optimal storage, product flow, and picking strategies.
Inventory Management: Manage and optimize the inventory control processes within the warehouse, including stock taking, batch management, and cycle counting.
Advanced EWM Features: Leverage advanced features like Wave Management, Cross-Docking, Labor Management, and RF (Radio Frequency) support to enhance warehouse operations.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for EWM-related issues, troubleshoot system errors, and resolve configuration issues efficiently.
System Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for EWM implementations, ensuring the system meets business requirements and performs as expected.
