JOB DESCRIPTION – GNS UCS – A & SA
o Engineer will participate in a global technology team delivering Microsoft Teams and it's related Office 365 services.
o Provide support for MS teams services deployed and support global IT staff with MS Teams issues.
o Keep up to date with changes with respect to Microsoft 365 and its portfolio of services esp. on the UCS domain.
o Six + years of the required experience must have been in the implementation and in-depth knowledge on Office 365 services esp. Microsoft Teams, SharePoint online and all the connected technologies.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE
o Plan for service rollouts, feature enhancements on Microsoft Teams.
o Lead technology changes on MS Teams platform and Office 365 connected services.
o Provide SME level support to Operations and Service desk teams.
o Vendor coordination / Project & Team management.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES
o Demonstrate experience in deploying Microsoft Teams and SfB to MS Teams upgrades.
o Strong knowledge on Microsoft Teams architecture, components, and Skype for Business Online components.
o Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office 365 technologies - SharePoint Online/One Drive for Business, Exchange online, Groups and Azure AD
o Strong knowledge on Windows servers, Active directory and Office 365 services suite and licensing.
o Demonstrate experience in understanding and providing aid for Teams desktop/VDI based deployments.
o Additional knowledge on MS Teams video and voice interoperability is desired.
o Additional knowledge on Microsoft 365 security components for MS Teams security and governance is desired.
o Additional knowledge on Client components like Sonus or AudioCodes is desired.
o Additional knowledge on Power Platform, Power BI is desired.
o Microsoft Certifications - Teams administrator or M365 associate is desired.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills desirable.
o Ability to work independently and define priorities.
o Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills to resolve issues and challenges
