Reference: 0421416bd9477a4f

Job Description

What do we expect from you?

  • Partner with business leaders and managers as the first point of contact for all people-related matters within the assigned business unit, ensuring seamless execution of HR programs and processes
  • Own end-to-end talent acquisition for assigned roles — from sourcing and screening to offer rollout and onboarding — partnering with hiring managers to close positions with speed and quality
  • Drive the performance management cycle within the BU: goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, calibration support, and follow-through on performance improvement plans
  • Support talent management initiatives including talent reviews, succession inputs, high-potential identification, and internal movement/IJP (Internal Job Posting) processes to enable career growth within Yellow.ai
  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives — pulse surveys, engagement action plans, R&R programs, town halls, and team connects — and translate feedback into tangible improvements
  • Build and maintain HR dashboards and analytics; review and analyze employee data (attrition, hiring funnel, engagement, performance distribution) to identify trends and recommend data-backed solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience
  • Ensure smooth HR operations across the employee lifecycle — onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits, documentation, and HRIS data hygiene — in collaboration with the HR Ops and payroll teams
  • Partner with managers and the L&D function to identify capability gaps, coordinate learning programs, and track training effectiveness and adoption
  • Coach first-time and mid-level managers on HR guidelines, policies, and people practices, helping them align their teams to business unit OKRs
  • Wear multiple hats across Total Rewards, TA, and L&D to ensure solutions designed meet business problems and needs
  • Administer org-wide programs like performance reviews, rewards and recognition, and engagement surveys for the BU
  • Address and resolve employee queries, concerns, and grievances with empathy, fairness, and confidentiality

You're a great fit if you already meet the following prerequisites.

  • Bachelor's degree in any field; an MBA/PGDM in HR is preferable
  • 2–5 years of experience across HR business partnering, talent acquisition, or HR generalist roles, ideally in a SaaS/tech product or start-up environment
  • Exposure to multiple HR areas — TA, performance management, engagement, HR operations, L&D, or analytics — with eagerness to build depth across the full HR spectrum
  • Comfort working with data: proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and the ability to build reports and draw insights from people metrics; familiarity with HRIS/ATS tools is a plus
  • Adeptness and ability to cope with a fast-paced work environment by being hands-on
  • Passionate about innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills with the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a high degree of ownership
  • Sound understanding of HR functions, practices, and Indian employment basics
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking skills
