SAP Datasphere Specialist
Job Description
Incident Management & Resolution
Provide L1/L2 support for SAP Datasphere and Databricks environments, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Monitor data pipelines, jobs, and integrations for failures or performance issues.
Troubleshoot connectivity, configuration, and data ingestion problems across SAP and Databricks platforms.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
Operational Excellence
Maintain and update SOPs for incident handling, escalation, and resolution.
Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs for ticket resolution and system uptime.
Collaborate with Data/SAP engineering teams for complex issues and permanent fixes.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization in support workflows.
Document knowledge articles for common issues and resolutions.
Skills & Qualification:
2–5 years of experience in technical support or application support roles.
Hands-on experience with:
SAP Datasphere (data modeling, integration, connectivity troubleshooting)
Databricks (cluster management, job monitoring, performance tuning) - optional skills/good to have
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (Data Factory, Storage) and Power BI is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience with ITIL practices and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
Excellent communication skills for global stakeholder interaction
