About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Revenue Management to be part of the Centre of Excellence (COE) for the IHCL–McKinsey Revenue Management Project (Project Aarohan). This leadership role will drive strategic revenue optimization initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics and building a best-in-class Revenue Management playbook covering pricing, forecasting, and inventory management.
Reporting to: Associate Vice President – Revenue Management
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy Execution
- Drive and support implementation of revenue management strategies across pricing, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization
Data Analysis & Insights
- Work with large datasets to generate actionable insights
- Monitor key performance metrics and enable data-driven decision-making
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning
- Translate insights into effective revenue strategies
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with commercial, operations, and technology teams to execute revenue initiatives
- Influence cross-functional alignment at a leadership level
Process Standardization
- Contribute to developing and institutionalizing a Revenue Management playbook with best practices
Technology & Tools
- Leverage RMS, PMS, CRS, BI tools, and forecasting models to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Performance Tracking
- Track, measure, and report the impact of revenue initiatives
- Continuously refine strategies for improved outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Revenue Management
Functional Expertise
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Expertise in revenue management systems (PMS, CRS, RMS such as G3, etc.)
- Ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of hospitality revenue management and market dynamics
