Job Description
WHO WE ARE
Legend of Toys (LOT) is a full-stack D2C toys brand. We design and manufacture RC cars and drones where each
product has a personality, a name and a backstory. We are building a brand from India that competes on identity, not
price. Cinematic product worlds. Toys that feel like they belong in a movie.
We are growing fast. What we need now is someone who can own our D2C channel end-to-end: drive traffic, convert
it, and keep raising the bar on what the website experience looks and feels like.
THE ROLE
You will own the D2C growth function entirely, paid media, website performance, conversion optimisation, and the
numbers that sit behind all of it, reporting directly to the Business Head. You'll lead a team of two associates today
and build it out as the brand scales. You set the strategy, you run the experiments, you own the outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Paid Marketing - Meta & Google
– Own performance marketing on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google end-to-end , strategy, execution, and
optimisation
– Set and hit ROAS, CAC, and revenue targets; review them weekly with the Business Head
– Brief the creative team on ad content with a conversion lens- you know what works and why
– Run structured, always-on tests across creatives, audiences, placements, and offers; act fast on what you learn
D2C Website - CRO & Merchandising
– Own conversion rate optimisation across the LOT website, homepage, PDPs, collections, and checkout
– Drive the merchandising strategy: how products are positioned, sequenced, and presented on-site
– Work with the brand and tech teams to improve site experience based on data, user behaviour, and competitive
benchmarks
– Own the Shopify backend - builds, updates, and optimisations; you should be comfortable getting your hands
dirty in the platform
Metrics Ownership
– Own the full D2C metrics stack like sessions, conversion rate, AOV, ROAS, CAC, LTV, repeat rate
– Define what good looks like for each metric and build a clear plan to get there
– Identify drops, anomalies, or opportunities in the data
Analytics & Reporting
– Build and maintain a live growth dashboard with clear weekly visibility for the leadership team
– Present weekly performance reviews ,what moved, what didn't, why, and what's next
– Own attribution setup and work continuously to improve data accuracy across paid and organic
Team Leadership
– Lead and develop two growth associates - give them direction, teach them how to think, and hold them to a high
standard
– Hire and build the team as the channel and budget scale
– Create a culture of ownership within the growth function
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
– 2-4 years in a D2C growth or performance marketing role, with direct ownership of a brand's website channel
– Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, you've managed budgets, built campaigns, and
optimised them yourself
– Strong Shopify skills, you've built or significantly optimised a Shopify store, not just logged in to check reports
– Solid understanding of CRO principles, A/B testing, heatmaps, funnel analysis, UX improvements
– Comfortable with analytics tools (GA4, Meta Pixel, Shopify Analytics) and able to pull insights

– High-ownership mindset, you treat the channel like it's your own business, not a job description to tick off
– Hustler with curiosity: you're always asking ‘what else can we test?' and you don't need permission to start
– Number-first ,you live in dashboards, spot issues early, and translate data into clear decisions
– Strong communicator who can present performance clearly to the leadership team without burying the signal in
noise
– Comfortable with ambiguity, fast-moving priorities, and a company that's still figuring things out at pace

layers above you, no committees to clear. You report directly to the Business Head, your work is visible in the
numbers, and your growth is tied directly to the brand's growth.
