Main Duties & Scope of the role
The Regional Strategic Alliance Manager (RSAM) is responsible for leading and managing a team of Strategic Alliance Managers (SAMs) and Strategic Alliance Executives (SAEs) across a defined geographical region. This role ensures the implementation of strategic engagement plans with key partner institutions to generate quality student leads and maximize enrolments in partner universities across all destinations. The RSAM acts as a bridge between the Head of Strategic Alliances and the field team, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Student Acquisition Managers (SAMs) and Student Acquisition Executives (SAEs) to drive achievement of regional targets.
- Ensure consistent performance tracking and team development through regular reviews, mentoring, and capability building.
Institutional Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at schools, colleges, and universities within the assigned region.
- Ensure institutional partners are actively engaged and aligned with organizational goals.
Lead Generation & Partner Network Development
- Establish and maintain a high-quality pipeline of student leads by building a robust network of lead partners through the team.
- Monitor lead quality and conversion potential to support enrollment goals.
Strategic Partnerships & Onboarding
- Identify, initiate, and onboard strategic institutional partnerships via MoUs and tailored engagement plans.
- Develop long-term collaboration strategies to enhance brand presence and lead inflow.
Event Execution & Student Engagement
- Oversee the planning and execution of student-facing activities such as seminars, university fairs, guest lectures, and help-desks.
- Ensure each event meets engagement and quality benchmarks.
Reporting & Metrics Management
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of team performance, institutional outreach, and student lead data. Leverage insights for continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
Resource Allocation & ROI Tracking
- Allocate team and budgetary resources efficiently across high-potential accounts. Track return on investment from institutional partnerships and optimize efforts accordingly.
Sponsorship Oversight
- Monitor sponsorship activities and evaluate outcomes to justify marketing investments and identify future opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, admissions, and counselling teams to ensure outreach efforts are seamlessly integrated with service delivery and brand messaging.
Strategic Planning Contribution
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Alliances, offering regional insights and on-ground feedback to shape broader strategic initiatives and institutional engagement plans.

- Proven ability to manage a multi-member team and drive performance in a results-driven environment.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with educational institutions.
- High proficiency in planning and executing events and engagement activities.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort in using CRM tools and reporting dashboards.
Requirements & Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in institutional sales, partnerships, or education outreach, including 2-3 years in a team leadership role.
