Job Description



Role Overview

Dudhi Industries Pvt Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager Sales with strong hands-on experience in government sales of building materials / construction / infrastructure products, preferably FRP, GFRP, SMC, or composite-based products.

This is a core execution-driven role, involving Government departments, PSUs, Smart Cities, Railways, Jal Boards, PWD, Urban Development Authorities, Municipal Corporations, Utilities, and Government-funded infrastructure projects.



Key Responsibilities

1. Project-Based Account Management

  • Manage relationships with Government departments, Municipal Corporations, NBCC, PWD, CPWD, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL.
  • Build strong connections with consultants, project managers, and decision-makers.
  • Ensure repeat business through long-term engagement.



2. Tender & Project Opportunity Identification

  • Track infrastructure projects via portals like Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), and state PWD websites.



3. Consultant & EPC Engagement

  • Work closely with EPC contractors, PMC consultants, architects, and infrastructure developers.
  • Ensure product specifications (e.g., manhole covers, castings) are approved and incorporated in BOQs/tenders.
  • Influence technical approvals and brand positioning at pre-tender stage.



4. Bid/Tender Management

  • Lead complete tender lifecycle:
    • Tender evaluation and feasibility
    • Techno-commercial bid preparation
    • Pricing strategy and margin protection
  • Coordinate with internal teams for accurate and timely submissions.



5. Order Conversion & Project Execution

  • Convert tenders into confirmed orders and contracts.
  • Ensure alignment between client requirements and production capability.
  • Track project timelines, dispatch schedules, and installation phases.



6. Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development

  • Achieve revenue targets from government and private infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Focus on high-value and multi-location projects.



7. Specification Selling & Product Approval

  • Get company products approved in:
    • Government schedules (SOR)
    • Consultant drawings & DPRs
    • EPC BOQs
  • Conduct technical presentations and site-level engagement.



8. Payment Collection & Commercial Control

  • Ensure timely billing as per project milestones.
  • Follow up for payments with government bodies and contractors.
  • Minimize delays in receivables and manage credit exposure.



9. Site Coordination & Execution Support

  • Visit project sites regularly to monitor product usage and performance.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and dispatch teams.
  • Resolve on-site issues related to installation or product quality.



10. Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking

  • Track competitor pricing, approvals, and project presence.
  • Monitor upcoming infrastructure investments and tenders.
  • Identify gaps and new regions/projects for expansion.



11. Vendor Registration & Empanelment

  • Experience in vendor registration and product empanelment with government bodies
  • Experience handling technical compliance and approval documentation
  • Maintain updated technical and compliance documentation.



Requirements


Mandatory Eligibility Criteria (Strict – Non-Negotiable)

Candidates must meet ALL the conditions below:

'05; Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years in Government Project Sales / Infrastructure Sales
  • Experience in tender-driven business development
  • Exposure to project lifecycle management preferred
  • Experience must be directly related to government sales

'05; Mandatory Vehicle, Laptop & Mobile Requirement

  • Candidate must own a personal four-wheeler.
  • Valid driving license is mandatory
  • Fuel + Travel Reimbursement (actual / per km basis)


'05; Education

  • Continuous regular education only


Preferred Background (Industry Exposure)

Experience in companies dealing with:

  • FRP / GFRP / SMC products
  • Cable trays, manhole covers, fencing systems, enclosures, panels
  • Infrastructure, electrical, water, drainage, transport, or utility product
    Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of government procurement systems
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Extensive travel across assigned territory required
  • Site visits and department meetings are integral to the role

Compensation & Benefits

Probation Period

  • Duration: 4–6 months

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total CTC: ₹13,00,000 per annum
    • Fixed Pay: ₹10,00,000 per annum
    • Deferred Pay: ₹3,00,000
      • ₹1,50,000 payable after 6 months of continuous service
      • ₹1,50,000 payable after 1 year of continuous service

Sales Incentive

  • 2% incentive on monthly sales generated, as per company incentive policy
