Job Title: Training Manager – Medical Devices
Experience : 8+ years in Training/L&D within Medical Devices or Healthcare
Location: Gurgaon
Working days: Gurgaon, (6 days- 2nd Saturdays off)

Common gastrointestinal (GI) disease states include esophageal disorders, GI strictures and bleeding, biliary disease and conditions, as well as esophageal, biliary, pancreatic and colon cancer.

Role Overview:
The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving a comprehensive, year aound training strategy for the company.
This role will ensure that sales teams, clinical specialists, and internal stakeholders are equipped with the required product knowledge, clinical expertise, and selling capabilities to drive business growth and maintain high standards of compliance in the medical device industry.
Qualifications & Experience:
%CF; MBA / PGDM in HR, Marketing, or Healthcare Management (preferred)
%CF; Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
%CF; 8–10 years of experience in training/L&D within medical devices or healthcare
%CF; Proven experience in sales training and product training
Preferred Experience:
%CF; Experience in surgical / interventional medical devices
%CF; Exposure to OT-based training and clinician interactions
%CF; Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools
Key Responsibilities:
1. Annual Training Strategy & Planning
%CF; Develop and implement a structured annual training calendar aligned with business goals and product roadmap
%CF; Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across sales, marketing, and clinical teams
%CF; Define competency frameworks for different roles (Sales, Clinical, Product, Support)
%CF; Align training strategy with product launches, market expansion, and organizational priorities
2. Training Program Design & Development
%CF; Design modular training programs covering:
%CB; Product knowledge (features, benefits, clinical applications)
%CB; Therapy area and disease understanding
%CB; Sales skills (consultative selling, objection handling, negotiation)
%CB; Compliance and regulatory training
%CF; Develop training content and materials (presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, videos, simulations)
%CF; Incorporate adult learning principles and blended learning approaches (classroom, digital, on-field)
3. Product & Clinical Training
%CF; Deliver in-depth product and procedural training to sales and clinical teams
%CF; Collaborate with marketing and KOLs to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance
%CF; Support new product launches with structured certification programs
%CF; Ensure teams are confident in OT (Operation Theatre) / procedure room environments
4. Sales Training & Capability Building
%CF; Build and implement sales capability frameworks
%CF; Conduct training on:
%CB; Territory management
%CB; Customer segmentation and targeting
%CB; Value-based selling in healthcare
%CF; Drive on-field coaching programs in collaboration with regional managers
%CF; Strengthen first-line manager coaching effectiveness
5. Training Execution & Delivery
%CF; Lead induction and onboarding programs for new hires
%CF; Execute quarterly and monthly training interventions as per plan
%CF; Facilitate classroom sessions, workshops, webinars, and hands-on training
%CF; Manage training logistics and coordination across regions
6. Assessment, Certification & Effectiveness
%CF; Design and implement assessment tools (quizzes, certifications, skill evaluations)
%CF; Track training effectiveness using KPIs such as knowledge retention, field performance, and sales impact
%CF; Use frameworks like Kirkpatrick Model (Levels 1–4) to measure training ROI
%CF; Ensure mandatory certifications for product and compliance training
7. Digital Learning & Innovation
%CF; Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS)
%CF; Drive adoption of digital learning platforms, microlearning, and mobile-based training
%CF; Introduce innovative training methods such as simulation-based learning, virtual demos, and gamification
8. Stakeholder Collaboration
%CF; Partner with Marketing, Sales Leadership, HR, and Regulatory teams
%CF; Work with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for advanced clinical training
%CF; Align training initiatives with business strategy and market needs
9. Compliance & Quality Training
%CF; Ensure adherence to industry regulations and ethical practices
%CF; Conduct regular training on compliance, quality standards, and SOPs
%CF; Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness
10. Budgeting & Reporting
%CF; Manage annual training budget and optimize cost efficiency
%CF; Track and report training metrics, coverage, and outcomes
%CF; Present quarterly training dashboards to leadership
