Job Description

The Business Development Manager will grow revenue, expand market reach, and build strong vendor and client networks in the US IT and Non-IT Recruitment & Staffing industry. This leadership role in a startup requires immediate results are expected from Day One, with the ideal candidate leveraging existing contacts to quickly onboard vendors and clients. Long-term success depends on consistently creating new relationships and scaling the network. Performance will be measured by clear KPIs, including client or vendor onboarding, Requirements, Recruitment life cycle pipeline quality, and revenue growth, Team performance.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in US IT & Non-IT Recruitment & Staffing across various domains of industry.
  • Proven track record in client and vendor VMS acquisition and revenue generation. Convert prospects into long-term recurring clients through presentations, negotiations, closing, and follow-up.
  • Handling Contracts, hiring trends, billing negotiations, and market rates. Ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups with the accounting team.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the team, recruiters for timely, quality submissions, follow-up with candidate until Onboarding.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Hands-on experience using tools like CIEPAL, Job boards, LinkedIn pro for lead management and Track candidate pipeline using reporting.
  • Generate new business through relationship-driven strategies, referrals, networking, additional workforce solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding hiring needs, market conditions, talent availability and stay up to date to staffing industry trends.
  • Take full ownership of business development performance and outcomes, operating with a startup mindset, support, execution-focused, and accountable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation & closing skills, Team management and relationship management skills, excellent presentation skills in consultative settings, interact with compliance/ Hiring Managers and Business Owners.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-15 years' experience in US staffing and recruitment.
  • Strong network & Proven success in onboarding new US IT & Non-IT clients and vendors.
  • In-depth knowledge of US taxation policies and contractual obligations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Team management and Requirement prioritization.
