Job Description: 3D Motion Graphics Artist / Blender Artist\nCompany: DS Studios\nLocation: Chennai\nJob Type: Full-time / Freelance / Project Basis\nExperience: 1–3 years preferred\nSalary: Based on portfolio and skill level\nAbout the Role\nDS Studios is looking for a creative 3D Motion Graphics Artist / Blender Artist who can create high-quality cinematic 3D animations, title animations, visual effects, and short-form content for social media.\nWe are not looking for a basic reel editor. We need someone who can create videos similar to cinematic 3D animation reels using Blender, After Effects, and motion graphics.\nThe candidate should be able to recreate reference videos, create 3D scenes, animate objects/text, add lighting, camera movements, render scenes, and make the final video look premium and engaging.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate 3D animations using Blender.\nCreate motion graphics and title animations.\nRecreate reference-style videos and cinematic shots.\nDesign 3D scenes, objects, typography, and visual elements.\nWork on camera movements, lighting, materials, textures, and rendering.\nAdd effects, compositing, and final polish using After Effects / Premiere Pro.\nCreate short-form 3D content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, and brand promotions.\nWork with the creative team to develop premium visual concepts.\nDeliver high-quality videos within deadlines.\nRequired Skills\nStrong knowledge of Blender.\nKnowledge of After Effects for compositing and motion graphics.\nAbility to create 3D animation, title animation, and visual effects.\nUnderstanding of cinematic lighting, camera angles, textures, and rendering.\nBasic video editing knowledge in Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro.\nGood sense of timing, music, transitions, and visual storytelling.\nAbility to understand and recreate reference reels.\nPortfolio or Instagram page with previous 3D/motion graphics work is compulsory.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in 3D typography animation.\nExperience in cinematic product videos or movie-style recreation.\nKnowledge of tracking, rotoscoping, compositing, and VFX.\nKnowledge of wedding, fashion, event, or brand promo visuals is a plus.\nAbility to create trending social media visuals using 3D animation.\nSoftware Knowledge Required\nBlender – must-have\nAdobe After Effects – must-have\nPremiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve – preferred\nPhotoshop / Illustrator – added advantage\nCandidate Must Share\nPortfolio link\nInstagram page / YouTube channel\nSample 3D animation work\nBlender or motion graphics projects\nBefore/after or viewport-to-render samples, if available
