PHP Developer

Role Overview:\nSeeking a hands-on PHP Developer to act as a technical authority during application transition. The role involves application discovery, architecture analysis, vendor coordination and ensuring system stability, scalability and security.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage application discovery across backend (PHP) and frontend components\nAnalyze architecture, APIs, data models and system design\nValidate vendor documentation and drive knowledge transfer\nIdentify technical debt, risks and dependencies\nRecommend pre/post-transition improvements\nAct as technical escalation point and guide engineering teams\nReview code, integrations and architectural decisions\nCollaborate with cloud and security teams for deployment and compliance\nImprove system reliability, performance and maintainability\n\nRequired Skills:\n2.5+ years of experience with strong PHP backend development\nExperience with complex codebases, APIs and system architecture\nKnowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and database design\nExperience working with external vendors\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in system transitions or migrations\nExposure to AWS or cloud environments\nKnowledge of security/compliance frameworks\n\nAdditional:\nHybrid role based in Mumbai\nFlexible for extended hours during critical situations
