Position: Engineer, Central Applications

Job Description Summary:

Central Applications Engineering is seeking motivated Applications Engineers to join our team at ADI’s Bangalore office. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support to customers for ADI products, mainly through email and phone. At times, the role may require onsite customer visits to debug and resolve technical issues, as well as to deliver product- or system-level training. The team works closely with regional sales teams and channel partners to ensure effective customer support and successful deployment of ADI solutions.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide hardware and software application support for ADI signal‑chain solutions
  • Work closely with customers to support the integration and design‑in of ADI products within their systems
  • Develop reference designs, evaluation solutions, and supporting application notes
  • Deliver technical training and knowledge‑transfer sessions to customers
  • Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Analog and/or Digital Electronics, or a related discipline
  • Entry‑level candidate with 1–2 years of relevant academic or industry experience
  • Solid grounding in analog and mixed‑signal fundamentals, including operational amplifiers, ADCs, and DACs
  • Demonstrated ability to select components and debug electronic circuits at the board and system level
  • Hands‑on experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Working knowledge of circuit simulation tools and methodologies
  • Preferred / Added Value Skills

  • Exposure to microcontroller‑based systems; Linux programming experience is an advantage
  • Background or coursework in medical electronics and instrumentation is a plus
  • Familiarity with software development tools and practices is beneficial
