ETL Tester

We are looking for a highly skilled ETL Tester with strong Snowflake expertise to join our data engineering/testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and performing end-to-end testing of ETL processes in a cloud-based data warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts for ETL and data warehouse projects
• Validate data migration, transformation, and integration processes
• Perform source-to-target validation using complex SQL queries
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
• Work with Snowflake data warehouse to validate large-scale data sets
• Perform data reconciliation and data quality checks
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
• Automate ETL testing processes wherever feasible
• Identify defects, track issues, and support defect resolution
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning
• Conduct performance and regression testing for data pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Expertise in writing advanced SQL queries
• Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, AWS Glue, etc.)
• Experience in data validation, data mapping, and reconciliation testing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, SCD, facts/dimensions)
• Experience with test automation tools (optional but preferred)
• Understanding of data pipelines and Big Data ecosystems
