Business Development Executive - Laptop Refubishment

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for strategic business development, procurement of IT assets, and key account management. The role plays a critical part in scaling operations, achieving revenue targets, and strengthening relationships with corporate and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Source IT assets such as laptops, desktops, servers, and other electronic equipment from corporates, MSMEs, and IT firms
  
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality standards
  
• Negotiate pricing, procurement volumes, and delivery timelines with clients and vendors
  
• Coordinate with internal teams for quality checks, logistics, verification, and procurement documentation
  
• Analyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
  
• Develop procurement and business strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets
  
• Build a strong business pipeline through networking, outreach, and client engagement activities
  
• Ensure customer retention by addressing client concerns and handling escalations effectively
  
• Identify new demand segments and potential distribution channels
  
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless procurement and execution
  
• Maintain accurate CRM records, reports, and procurement documentation
  
• Lead, mentor, and support team members to drive performance and operational efficiency
  

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong experience in IT asset procurement and business development
  
• Expertise in negotiation, vendor management, and contract handling
  
• Good understanding of IT hardware, refurbished products, and the e-waste/recycling sector (preferred)
  
• Analytical mindset with forecasting and market analysis capabilities
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  
• Target-driven approach with strong accountability and ownership
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
  
• Prior experience in e-waste management, IT asset disposition (ITAD), recycling, or procurement industry preferred
  
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities
