Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate enterprise-wide technology strategy, as a senior member of the Technology Strategy and Operations Office, aligned with business objectives, competitive positioning, and market trends across all technology domains
- Programs manage comprehensive technology transformation initiatives spanning infrastructure, applications, data, and digital capabilities to drive business value, operational excellence, and high-impact outcomes with direct senior leadership visibility
- Partner with C-suite executives and business leaders to identify technology-enabled business opportunities and translate business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps
- Conduct technology portfolio assessments, capability gap analyses, and total cost of ownership evaluations to optimize technology investments and resource allocation
- Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives including cloud, AI adoption, automation, and emerging technology evaluation and implementation
- Define and execute technology modernization strategies for legacy systems, application rationalization, and architectural evolution toward modern platforms
- Program manage large-scale, high-stakes transformation programs with complex dependencies across multiple business units, geographies, and technology domains, ensuring delivery excellence, executive accountability, and measurable business impact
- Establish transformation governance, define success metrics and KPIs, and create executive reporting frameworks including steering committee cadences that demonstrate business impact and ROI to senior leadership
- Create compelling executive presentations, business cases, and strategic narratives that articulate technology vision and secure leadership buy-in for strategic initiatives
- Present technology strategy, investment recommendations, and transformation progress to executive leadership teams, and key stakeholders
- Drive organizational change management and technology adoption across the enterprise, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, technology partnerships, and ecosystem collaborations including vendor strategy, rationalization, commercial negotiations, and cost optimization that enable business capabilities and accelerate transformation
- Drive technology cost management and optimization initiatives including run-rate reduction, investment trade-off analysis, and business case development to ensure transformation programs deliver measurable financial returns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred
- 15-20 years of progressive experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture with demonstrated success program managing enterprise-wide transformation initiatives with high impact and senior leadership visibility
- Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies that drive measurable business outcomes, cost optimization, and competitive advantage
- Deep understanding of enterprise technology landscape including cloud platforms, modern application architectures, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives including cloud migration, AI/ML implementation, automation, API strategies, and platform modernization
- Strong business acumen with ability to understand industry dynamics, competitive landscape, and translate business needs into technology solutions
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to see across organizational boundaries and connect technology investments to business value and financial outcomes
- Outstanding executive presence and communication skills with proven ability to influence C-suite executives, board members, and senior business leaders
- Expert-level presentation and storytelling skills with ability to create compelling executive-quality materials that drive strategic decisions and secure funding
- Strong program and change management capabilities with experience leading complex, multi-year transformation programs across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience with top-tier strategy consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big4), leading technology companies, or CTO/strategy offices in Fortune 500 organizations preferred
- Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries a plus; global transformation experience highly valued
