Textile CAD Software -- Business Partner / Distributor India

Pointcarre, a French textile CAD software company with over 40 years of presence worldwide, is looking for an experienced business partner or organization to represent, sell and support our solutions across India.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an established team or company with a proven track record in selling and supporting textile technology solutions in the Indian market.

ABOUT POINTCARRE

Pointcarre is a standalone textile CAD application covering Weaving (Dobby and Jacquard), Digital and Traditional Printing, Knit Design and 3D Mapping, all within a single platform, compatible with both Mac and Windows. Our software interfaces with all major industrial looms (Staubli, Bonas, Picanol, ITEMA, Dornier...) and is widely adopted by textile schools, design studios and mills around the world. We also offer an online training platform, Pointcarre Academy, and AI-powered design tools.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a partner organization, not a single individual, capable of covering the Indian textile market with a structured approach. The ideal partner will:

• Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Indian textile technology market
• Have an existing client network among Indian weaving mills, printing houses, design studios and textile schools
• Have hands-on technical knowledge of weaving (Dobby and Jacquard) and textile printing workflows
• Have previous experience selling, demonstrating and training clients on textile CAD/CAM software (any platform)
• Have a team capable of providing installation, training and first-level technical support across India
• Be comfortable working with both Mac and Windows environments
• Be willing to travel extensively across Indian textile clusters (Surat, Panipat, Ichalkaranji, Bhilwara, Bangalore, Coimbatore, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate Pointcarre to prospective and current clients
• Install, configure and update the Pointcarre application on client machines
• Train end users to work productively with the software
• Provide first-level technical support and escalate complex issues to our team in France
• Report regularly to Pointcarre's management on sales activity, pipeline and market intelligence

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (applications not meeting these will not be considered)

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the textile technology sector in India
• Demonstrated experience with textile CAD software (Pointcarre or equivalent)
• Existing infrastructure: office, team, client database
• Fluent English communication skills
• References from Indian textile companies you have worked with
