Roles and responsibilities :
1. Sales Strategy and Planning
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends,
customer needs, and competitor activities.
Sales Targets: Develop and implement sales strategies to
achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Forecasting: Predict sales trends and adjust strategies
accordingly to meet market demands.
2. Client Relationship Management
Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients
to expand the customer base.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships
with existing clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service to ensure high
levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Sales Execution
Product Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of the company’s
products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales
presentations to clients.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to
close sales deals.
Order Processing: Oversee the order process from initiation
to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Distribution and Logistics
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to ensure product
availability and prevent shortages.
Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with logistics and
supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient product distribution.
Retail Audits: Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to
ensure proper product placement and adherence to company standards.
5. Reporting and Analysis
Sales Reports: Prepare and submit regular sales reports,
including performance metrics and progress towards targets.
Market Insights: Analyze sales data to identify patterns and
insights that can inform future strategies.
Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to management on market
trends, customer preferences, and product performance.
6. Team
Collaboration
Coordination: Work closely with marketing, finance, and
product development teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
Training: Participate in training programs to stay updated
on sales techniques and product knowledge.
Mentoring: Support and mentor junior sales staff, sharing
best practices and strategies.
7. Compliance and Documentation
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply
with legal and regulatory requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales
transactions, client interactions, and other relevant documentation.
8. Problem-Solving
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns
raised by clients or encountered during the sales process.
Adaptability: Adjust strategies and approaches based on
feedback and changing market conditions.
Candidates should be from FMCG industry specially exp in
Food division.
