Marketing Operations Manager - Description
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement marketing operations strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain an up-to-date marketing dashboard that combines data from multiple sources into 1 tool. Then analyze marketing performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive vendor management strategy, including vendor selection, onboarding, and performance evaluation while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Assisting to manage the marketing budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the allocation of marketing resources.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Collaborate across marketing to establish common planning tools, calendars and views that enable regular and up-to-date planning discussions across groups
- Lead key people processes for the marketing function such as shared training programs and quarterly travel requests and approvals.
- Lead cross-functional projects at the CMO’s directive to improve marketing processes and systems.These should include project plans, timelines and budgets and track progress against objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the marketing operations team.
- Organize and manage the scheduling of marketing leadership calls and regular marketing team meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, procurement, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics.
- Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent budgeting, financial management, and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- This position may require occasional travel to meet with vendors or attend industry events.
