Job Description

• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary and agile testing team responsible for the internal DevOps tools of the automated testing teams by following Festo's international test standards

• Design, standardize, and maintain repositories and CI/CT/CD pipelines

• Manage and maintain virtualized environments for automated and manual testing

• Utilize the latest technologies and DevOps tools for efficient test operations

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure smooth code and test integration

• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in builds, deployments, and test executions

The Successful Applicant

A successful Test Automation Engineer - DevOps should have:

• Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualifications.

• Proven expertise and at least 3 years of practical experience in DevOps tooling.

• Very good knowledge in using GIT and tools like GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity or similar

• Good knowledge in using virtualization tools like VirtualBox, VMware, Azure or similar

• Good knowledge of programming in Microsoft .NET/C# and/or Python.

• Experience and routine in agile software development methods ( SCRUM) desirable

• Analytical skills, structured and abstract thinking as well as creativity combined with a very good ability to work in a team

• Good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
