Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess Physics lessons for classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and term‑time examinations, assignments, and project work; evaluate and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and guide students for competitive examinations (e.g., JEE, NEET‑Physics) and extracurricular science events.
- Participate in school development programmes, faculty meetings, and continuous professional development workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic progress, and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to organise inter‑disciplinary projects and school‑wide events.
- Uphold the values and ethos of Adani Vidya Mandir, acting as a role model for students and peers.
- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Physics or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Education (B.Ed.) or an equivalent teaching certification recognized by the CBSE.
- Clearance of the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) is preferred.
- Strong grasp of the CBSE Physics syllabus and assessment patterns.
