Job Description

Your main responsibilities

Objectives of the function:

• Ensure functioning in synchronization with function as well as organization objectives for arranging non-production material, services & capital items for project buying in time for KG HO & PAN India
• Ensuring optimal supplier performance, price & cost out/avoidance performance.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships management to deliver continuous improvement in delivery of goods and services by the supply base

Responsibilities:

1.Responsible as indirect category buyer for ensuring cost effective operations through implementation of NPMS/Subcon process and monitoring availability of requisite materials and services as per requirement through distribution channel.
2. Responsible to float RFQ/RFP and negotiate Tender, Opex, Capex, Site project requirements, Subcon & Critical services commodities/contracts with suppliers.
3. Interaction with local/global suppliers and searching new prospect suppliers as per requirement. Negotiating with local/global suppliers for annual rate contract of spares and services as per price list.
4. Responsible for end-to-end procurement cycle, Repetitive buying parts/subcon price updation in Ariba, PO release approval & accountable for on time supplier payment
5. Implementing various cost calculation techniques for projects e.g. activity base costing to estimate & budget price.
6. Should have knowledge about Subcon understanding, working method, supplier benchmarking related to subcon & market know how.
7. Responsible for subcon strategy implementation in respective zones of India in synchronization with local respective stake holders & in alignment with global guideline
8. Responsible to select new subcon, negotiate, onboard, contract management, track performance & drive improvement plan
9. Should interact cross border actively with Subcon peers, category managers to know BDP & cost improvement opportunities. Evaluate/align same with local stake holders & lead them for implementation
10. Supporting internal CFT team in various efficiency improvement/sustainability innovation projects.
11. Maintaining monthly MIS for Ariba PR to PO Closure, spend management for NPMS subcon category, Cost out and reporting.
12. Monthly collect, analyse & report Cost out information in sievo locally & globally

What you bring

Education:

• Graduate in Mechanical / Automobile/ Production/Electrical Engineering
• Post Graduate qualifications in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management (preferred)

Professional skills:

• Strong in data analytics, data presentation & reporting
• Good Commercial knowledge and negotiation skills
• Technical competent and proficient in engineering concepts
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies/tools.
• Familiarity with IMS, Sustainability Systems
• Achievement orientation & drive for results
• Time management, Planning & organizing skills

Professional experience

• 15 years of overall Subcon management/ non-production material procurement experience in E & E industry will be preferred.
• Should have good exposure working with cross-functional teams.
• Should have knowledge of spend management/SAP Ariba
• Should have strong NPMS & Subcon Procurement base

Standard Awareness

• Occupational Health, Safety, environment, Quality & Energy Management policy awareness
• ISO 14001,45001, 9001 & ISO 50001 EnMS standard awareness
