Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales
  • Achieve monthly and annual tractor loan disbursement targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in rural and agricultural markets.
  • Generate leads through tractor dealers, manufacturers, and direct customer interactions.
  • Increase market share in the assigned area.
  • 2. Dealer & Channel Management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tractor dealers and distributors.
  • Appoint and support new dealer channels where required.
  • Conduct dealer visits and provide product training.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between dealers and credit teams.
  • 3. Customer Acquisition
  • Meet farmers and rural customers to promote tractor financing products.
  • Explain loan features, eligibility criteria, interest rates, and repayment options.
  • Assist customers in documentation and loan application processes.
  • 4. Team Management
  • Lead and supervise Sales Officers, Relationship Officers, or field executives.
  • Set targets and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular field visits and coaching sessions.
  • Ensure productivity and discipline within the sales team.
  • 5. Credit & Portfolio Quality
  • Coordinate with credit and risk teams for loan approvals.
  • Ensure proper customer verification and KYC compliance.
  • Monitor loan delinquency and collection performance.
  • Support recovery efforts to maintain healthy portfolio quality.
  • 6. Market Intelligence
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and financing schemes.
  • Analyze local agricultural trends and tractor demand.
  • Provide market feedback to senior management.
  • 7. Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline reports, and MIS.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and loan applications.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
  • MBA preferred for some organizations.
  • 3 8 years of experience in tractor finance, vehicle loans, rural lending, agri-finance, or banking sales.
