About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven leader to head the Animal Nutrition business for B2B sales. The role involves driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, building strong distribution networks, and leading product strategy across poultry, dairy, and aqua segments.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Growth
  • Drive achievement of regional and national sales targets in the animal nutrition segment
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for high-volume / bulk B2B business
  • Identify and acquire new clients across poultry, dairy, and aqua industries
  • Strengthen and expand dealer, distributor, and institutional networks
  • Ensure consistent pipeline development through lead generation, prospecting, and conversion
Market Development & Expansion
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and geographies
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and demand gaps
  • Drive entry into new segments and scale existing markets
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Product Strategy & NPD
  • Identify opportunities for new product development (NPD) based on market insights
  • Work closely with internal teams for product development and commercialization
  • Lead successful launch of new products and ensure market adoption
  • Position products effectively based on value proposition and customer needs
Competitive & Market Intelligence
  • Develop strong understanding of competitors (feed, premix, additives players)
  • Analyze competitor pricing, product performance, and market positioning
  • Benchmark product performance (yield, FCR, quality) against competition
  • Use customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve product positioning
  • Create and implement strategies to win against competitors
Customer Management
  • Handle key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and technical concerns effectively
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts
  • Build trust-based relationships to ensure long-term business retention
Team & Leadership
  • Lead and mentor the sales team (if applicable)
  • Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance
  • Drive a high-performance, target-oriented sales culture
Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B Animal Nutrition / Feed / Premix / Additives Sales
  • Strong exposure to poultry, dairy, and aqua segments
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong network of dealers, distributors, and institutional clients
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing, and margins
  • Experience in product launches and market expansion
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
