Over the past 5 years, more than 100,000 freelance content creators have applied to join the Pepper network, of which we work with the top 5% of talent. On the other end, we serve 2,500+ customers, including Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and a large part of the startup ecosystem.

About the Role

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content across digital and social platforms. You will work closely with content strategists, designers, and clients to deliver engaging visual stories that align with brand objectives and audience preferences. Your role will be crucial in ensuring creative excellence, consistency, and performance across all video deliverables.

Note: Candidates with BFSI or Creative Agency background will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, brand communication, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with client objectives, brand guidelines, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Collaborate with content strategists, designers, and project managers to develop compelling visual narratives.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and visual effects to enhance content quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific content formats.
  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to address feedback and revisions efficiently.
  • Optimize video content for engagement, reach, and performance across platforms.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in video editing (BFSI experience preferred).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social media, marketing, and brand video projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing tools.
  • Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Knowledge of social media video formats and platform requirements.
  • Research-oriented, detail-focused, and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered video editing and creative tools is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.
