The Procurement Executive will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including identifying and onboarding suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, and issuing purchase orders for raw materials and packaging.
The role involves monitoring inventory levels, aligning procurement with production plans, and ensuring timely delivery to avoid stockouts or delays. The Procurement Executive will maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, and sustainability standards that support FarmDidi’s mission. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing purchasing data for cost optimization, collaborating with operations and finance teams, and supporting process improvements in the supply chain.\nQualifications\n• Education: Graduate in any discipline.
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.\n• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management. Prior exposure to FMCG, food manufacturing, or packaging is strongly preferred.\n• Location: Must be based in Noida or willing to relocate before joining. This is a fully onsite role.\n\nRequired Skills:\nSourcing & Vendor Management\n• Hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations\n• Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and drive cost efficiencies without sacrificing quality\n• Understanding of vendor evaluation frameworks: quality, cost, delivery, and reliability\n• Exposure to FMCG, food, or packaging material procurement is a strong advantage\nSystems & Documentation\n• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for PO tracking, cost comparisons, and MIS\n• Experience with any ERP or procurement software (SAP, Zoho Inventory, Tally, or similar)\n• Ability to maintain clean procurement records and generate structured purchase reports\nAnalytical & Commercial Thinking\n• Ability to read market trends and flag risks or opportunities in raw material pricing\n• Comfortable with basic cost analysis, payment term calculations, and budgeting inputs\n• Attention to detail when reviewing supplier invoices, weight reconciliations, and quality inspection reports\nCommunication & Coordination\n• Clear written and spoken communication to manage supplier relationships and cross-functional coordination\n• Confident enough to push back on a vendor and professional enough to maintain the relationship while doing so
