Clipchamp\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking a Senior Finance Applications Analyst (Workday) to support finance systems, ensure data reliability, and drive continuous improvements across enterprise finance platforms such as Workday, FIS, and Bloomberg.\nThis role acts as the first point of contact for finance system issues and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth execution of month-end and quarter-end close cycles. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional finance knowledge with technical expertise in finance applications, ensuring system stability, data accuracy, and process efficiency.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Application Support & Incident Management\nAct as the primary point of contact for finance system issues, especially within Workday Financials.\nTriage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents with clear communication and documentation.\nManage tickets through closure using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent.\nFinance Process Support\nMonitor and support critical finance processes such as month-end close, reporting refreshes, and system feeds.\nEnsure timely execution of finance operations aligned with strict deadlines.\nMinimize disruptions to financial cycles through proactive system monitoring.\nUser Access & Security Management\nAdminister user roles, access controls, and security configurations in Workday.\nPartner with IT and Security teams to ensure compliance with access governance.\nMaintain audit-ready documentation and evidence for controls.\nData Management & Governance\nMaintain finance master data including cost centers, hierarchies, and reference data.\nCoordinate governance changes with finance leadership and stakeholders.\nEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.\nReconciliation & Issue Resolution\nPerform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in financial data and integrations.\nConduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive fixes.\nDevelop runbooks and documentation for recurring issues.\nEnhancements & Change Management\nGather business requirements and deliver system enhancements end-to-end.\nSupport UAT, release management, and user training.\nCoordinate with internal teams and vendors for system upgrades, patches, and releases.\nEnsure adherence to change management and control processes.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nWork closely with Finance, FP&A, IT, and external vendors.\nTranslate technical issues into business impact and actionable insights.\nProvide regular updates on system performance and improvements.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.\n5-8 years of experience supporting finance applications or finance operations with strong systems exposure.\n\nStrong expertise in:\nWorkday Financials (hands-on experience mandatory)\nFinance processes (month-end close, FP&A reporting)\nIncident management and system troubleshooting\nStrong analytical skills including reconciliations, data lineage, and root-cause analysis.\nExperience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).\nAdvanced Excel skills: SQL knowledge is a plus.\nStrong communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders.\n\nNice to Have Skills\n\nExperience with FIS, Bloomberg, or treasury systems.\nExposure to integrations between ERP, treasury, and market data toolsintegrations and financial data flows.\nExperience working in SOX-compliant or audit-driven environments.\nRelevant certifications in Workday, Treasury systems, or Bloomberg certifications or finance systems.\n\nDesired Attributes\n\nDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving mindset.\nAbility to work in deadline-driven, high-pressure environments.\nProactive and solution-oriented approach.\nStrong ownership and accountability.\nAbility to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
